This summer, experience Ladakh like never before, with guided tours offered by Experiential Himalayas.

Experience the beauty of Ladakh up close with a cycle tour. We’ve organized e-bicycles just for this. Why e-bicycles, you might ask. Well, cycling in Ladakh has always been considered an adventure sport, meant only for experienced enthusiasts. At Experiential Himalaya, we want to break that stereotype by making the entire experience much easier with e-bicycles, in a first-of-its-kind event in India.

E-bicycles require almost 50% less strength while allowing you to get a panoramic view of the exquisite landscapes. So, are you ready for a trendsetting adventure trip with your family?

We offer much more than scenic beauty. The Experiential Ladakh trip aims to redefine adventure and exploration holidays for families. We have a carefully curated list of activities planned just for you, such as jeep safari, bicycle and trekking tours in remote areas of Rupshu, Chanthan and Zanskar. You will get to enjoy local experiences like sipping Chang, visiting villages for a glimpse of the real culture of Ladakh, and stargazing while camping at night.

Experiential Himalaya promotes sustainable and near carbon-neutral tourism. Our packages and tours are designed to have minimal impact on the ecosystem and help the local economy.

TRAVEL TIPS

Ladakh is very safe, tourist friendly and cheering place. Still we recommend that you make few preparations which can make your tour even better and more memorable:

  • In Leh-Ladakh, only post paid cellular networks are working, preferably BSNL, Airtel, Vodafone. As mobile connections may not work at many places, you need to inform your family members before departing for the tour that they shuold not worry if they fail to contact you.
  • Do pack heavy woollens (Jackets, Caps, Socks etc) with you as temperature may dip below 0 degreeC any time even during winter months.
  • Carry good Sun Screen lotion, sun glasses (goggles), cap with you to avoid sunburn as during day sun rays are direct and can burn your skin.
  • Don’t forget to carry photo id with you. Aadhaar or Passport is the best option. Driving License and Voter Cards are also valid.
  • During your travel, keep your body hydrated by drinking water and eating healthy food and fruits to avoid vomiting due to high altitude sickness and dizziness due to curly roads
  • Please carry headache, stomachache, anti vomiting medicine or in case you have any ailment, you should carry enough stock of medicine with yourself.
  • You may take high altitude tablets (diamox or acetazolamide tablets) a day before your tour (preferably before falling asleep) and may also take before boarding plane to Leh. You need to rest and drink enough water for some hours after reaching Leh to acclimatise.
  • Leh has only few ATM machines where you can withdraw cash. At time these run out of cash and thus carrying enough cash is advisable.
  • You are expected to respect the Buddhist and Muslim culture of Leh Ladakh. Ladakh being an offbeat destination, we strive hard to provide best services despite many difficulties and challenges. Still, if you need to do compromise at any point (though we never hope for such moment), please do cooperate with us.
